Basanto Studio was built on the idea that the best creative work happens when you understand more than one market, more than one culture, and more than one way of seeing.
We're based in Mexico City. Our roots are in France. We shoot in both — and that's not an accident. The Franco-Mexican identity is not a positioning exercise. It's how we actually live, work and think. When a Mexican brand needs international credibility, we speak that language natively. When a European client wants to reach Latin America, we already live there.
We started as three friends with different backgrounds and one shared standard: content that starts with intention. Before the camera, before the shoot — the idea, the mood, the direction. That's where the real work begins.

Baptiste Soulé
French. Based in Mexico City. Baptiste directs — athletes in motion, brands with ambition, spaces with a story worth telling. His visual language is built on precision, movement and cinematic instinct, shaped by years working in sport production. He leads creative direction across all studio projects and drives the visual identity of every production.
Sergio Gutiérrez
Mexican. Six years building his eye in CDMX's creative scene. Sergio is the studio's visual anchor on every still frame — from editorial fashion to brand campaigns to intimate portraits. His approach is quiet but deliberate: every frame considered, every subject treated like a main character. He leads photo direction and ensures visual consistency across the studio's work.
Antoine Grenon-Andrieu
Mexican-French. Based in Mexico City. Antoine is the reason projects happen — and happen well. With a background in hospitality and live event production, he brings the structure, the client relationships and the energy that turns creative ideas into real deliverables. He leads business development, client strategy and event coverage.
Precision
We don't shoot everything. We shoot what needs to exist. Every project starts with a clear intention and ends with work that could only belong to that project.
Craft
Every frame is a decision. We work slowly on the concept so we can move confidently on set. We don't deliver volume — we deliver images that last.
Authenticity
The studio is built on real identity. Two cultures, three perspectives, one honest way of working. We don't perform creativity — we practice it.
